If you’re wondering which class to use for endgame content in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, our tier list might help you!
There are 8 classes in the game, with each one having 2 different specs they can take to focus on different things. With so many variables, it’s no surprise that some are better than others! Although all of them are pretty strong in the current version of the game.
Anyway, read on and we’ll give you our tier list ranking all of the classes and tell you our reasoning.
Best Class for Endgame Content | Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Tier List

- S+ – Verdant Oracle.
- S – Marskman, Stormblade, Shield Knight, Heavy Guardian.
- A – Frost Mage, Beat Performer.
- B – Wind Knight.
Breaking Down the Tiers | Placement Reasoning
S+ Tier

This tier is reserved exclusively for the Verdant Oracle currently, for one simple reason… you pretty much need this class in endgame content!
Currently, the Verdant Oracle is the best Healer class in the game. It has very low DPS output, but more than makes up for it by having the best healing and damage mitigation output. Basically, it’s a true pure Healer.
Honestly, nothing else comes even close to the usefulness of Verdant Oracle’s healing in the endgame. Every single party will want to have a Verdant Oracle to keep the party alive. Picking this class will also mean you’re always in demand for joining harder dungeons and raids!
What’s more is that the class’s overall usefulness extends to both its Smite and Lifebind specs. However, Lifebind is generally preferred, as it has better healing than Smite. Plus, the DPS from Smite is pretty subpar.
Aside from that, there aren’t many downsides to the Verdant Oracle. That said, proper resource management for optimal healing can take some practice, and the class’s game plan is perhaps too simple to be fun for some players. But, that’s about it!
S Tier

In the S tier, we have the other “must-have” classes to go alongside the Verdant Oracle. These are the main DPS (Marksman and Stormblade) as well as the Tanks (Shield Knight and Heavy Guardian).
Generally speaking, Stormblade and Marksman are pretty equal when it comes to their usefulness as a DPS. They’re both the best at dealing damage to single targets, so they’re always wanted for bosses.

That said, Marksman is a bit stronger overall than Stormblade. The main reason for this is that Marskman is just a lot easier to play, making it a more reliable class.
On top of that, the Moonstrike spec for the Stormblade has been somewhat underwhelming so far. It seems to be receiving buffs before the full global launch, however, so the jury’s still out on that one!

As for the Tanks, Shield Knight is generally considered preferable over the Heavy Guardian. This is because Shield Knights have better damage output and are overall more versatile.

The Heavy Guardian makes up for its weaknesses by being better for grouping mobs. As such, they’re pretty strong for dungeons! It’s also a relatively easy class to play, so they’re great for easing you in if you’re new to the Tank role.
A Tier

Moving on to the A tier, we have two classes in here, both fulfilling different roles!
First, the Frost Mage. This is a very powerful AoE-focused DPS that primarily excels at dealing with mobs. Highly favored when going through dungeons content and the like.
However, the Frost Mage has a few flaws to deal with! Its main one is that it has very low defenses. Combine this with the other flaws, such as poor mobility and long casting animations, and you have a fairly risky class.
In short, Frost Mage has extremely high damage and crowd control potential, but is also extremely squishy. Players who are comfortable as a glass cannon can excel with this, but it’s definitely not for everyone.

As for the Beat Performer (also known as Soul Musician), it’s the second Support class in the game. Its main issue is that it has to compete with the Verdant Oracle’s incredible healing output.
That said, Beat Performer is a pretty solid class overall. It has a fun playstyle, and it can provide a lot of utility to a party via buffs and healing.
Sadly, though, the healing output is very low compared to the Verdant Oracle. If there’s not a Verdant Oracle also in the party, the Beat Performer will struggle greatly trying to keep everyone alive.
B Tier

Lastly, we have the Wind Knight as our only pick for the B tier. The Wind Knight is a very fun class, and definitely a viable choice, don’t get us wrong!
However, the Wind Knight is also a class that requires a lot more effort to actually do well with. You’ll need to put in a lot more effort when compared to other DPS, such as Marksman and Stormblade.
While this isn’t inherently a bad thing, it does ultimately mean that you need to work more for less reward.
What’s worse is that the Wind Knight’s unique movement mechanics are also sometimes very finicky. In the game’s history, the Wind Knight has been most prone to being affected by odd bugs and technical issues that affect its performance.
Even with all of that said, though, the Wind Knight is still a solid choice if you’re willing to put in the work. Its skill expression is second-to-none in this game, making it an extremely fun class if you’re willing to step up to the challenge of mastering it!
That’s the end of our tier list, so now you know what class we consider the best for endgame content in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance.
