Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl can be pretty rough in the early game, so it’s a good idea to try to get the best armor you can get ASAP.

Having a resilient piece of armor will make you able to explore much more easily since you won’t be taken down as easily. It can really be the difference between life or death when going out into the Zone and the Lesser Zones!

In this quick guide, we’ll tell you where to find the best early game armor in Stalker 2.

Where To Get The Best Early Game Armor | PSZ-5V Guardian of Freedom Suit

The best early game armor you can get in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is the PSZ-5V Guardian of Freedom Suit, in our opinion. You can find it as soon as you reach the Garbage region. If you focus on the main story, it should take you just a couple of hours to get to the region. You then want to go to The Brood, marked on the map above.

To reach the armor, look for a slanted basement entrance near a set of pipes. Use the entrance’s inclination to jump onto the pipes.

Then, follow the pipes to the southeast to reach the roof of the building shown above.

Once you get there, check the eastern side of the rooftop to find the PSZ-5V Guardian of Freedom Suit on the floor. Pick it up and put it on!

This suit of armor provides really solid protection of every type besides Psi, while also balancing it with a fairly accommodating 7.0kg weight. What makes it so noteworthy in the early game is its versatility, as it can protect you from most of the dangers you come across while exploring the Zones. It’s sure to last you for a good while until you find something better!

Nonetheless, that’s all you need to know to get the best early game armor in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Now that you have a solid defensive piece of equipment, make sure you learn how to add scopes to your guns as well to bolster your offensive capabilities.

Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now!
