You can find the key itself while looting, and the key directs you to the Spaceport map. Find the room that the key opens and you’ll be able to collect a pretty nice helping of loot!

Spaceport Control Tower Key Location Guide
As usual with keys in this game, the Spaceport Control Tower Key does not seem to have a set spawn location. It can appear randomly when looting any container, primarily those in areas marked as residential.

A lot of players learned this when they got the Blue Gate Confiscation Room Key during the Server Slam, for example!
Now, to use this key, you need to head to the western building in the Control Tower A6 area in the Spaceport map. It’s marked on the image above for you.
Do be warned, this area can be pretty dangerous. There are usually strong ARCs patrolling it, such as Bombardiers. Be ready to deal with them by either fighting or fleeing.
Once you enter the building, you have to follow the route shown on the clip above. Essentially, you just need to open the far door to your left with the key. Then use the zipline to reach the top of the tall building, which is where all the loot is.
As another warning here, smaller ARCs can be inside the room that the zipline leaves you at. Be prepared for them so that they don’t ambush you.
Remember, also, that using the key will consume it. If you wish to revisit this loot room later, you’ll need to get another Spaceport Control Tower Key. That’s just how it is in this game…
