Exotic Ships are no doubt good-looking, not to mention they always spawn as an S-Class whenever you spot one. Not only that, but each of them will always have top-tier bonus values in damage, shield, and hyperdrive range.

Due to that, looking for an S-Class during your journeys can be rather hard. After all, they are quite rare.

Luckily, there is a specific location where you can find a handful of Exotic Ships. In fact, this location will always spawn an Exotic ship during the first wave. If you’re wondering where this location is, then check out the guide below.

How to Find First Wave Exotic Ships in No Man’s Sky

In case you’re wondering, the first wave means the first group of spaceships that land inside a space station after loading the game. So in other words, you will always spot an Exotic Ship along with other ships each time you load the area.

To head to this specific location, you want to head over to a portal and enter the following glyphs:

Before you enter the portal, make sure to turn off multiplayer first. You can do this by going to the Options menu, clicking on Network, and then toggling Multiplayer to Disabled. This is a very important step as any player who is present in the location could interfere with the spawn.

After that, head inside the portal to travel to a different star system. Once you’re on the planet, fly up to the sky and look for the space station. Board the space station and exit your ship. This is to create an autosave that you will be reloading every time in order to get an Exotic Ship.

At this point, all you need to do is wait for some ships to board the station for around 45-60 seconds. Once an S-Class Exotic ship appears, all you need to do is talk to its pilot in order to buy it. Then, you can choose to either use it as your main ship or dismantle it for parts.
