The new Interceptor Update has been released as part of No Man’s Sky’s long-term support. It has added a new category of ships in the form Sentinel Ships!

You can buy them straight away, but you can also find some for free from crash sites.

So, are you eager to get your hand on some of these fancy new ships? Let’s show you the location of the 6 best free Sentinel Ships you can find!

Also, since the universe of No Man’s Sky is so vast, we will be using Portals to find the ships. As such, make sure you have completed the quests that allow you to use them.

You will also need to obtain all Glyphs from finding Traveller Graves. There are 16 different glyphs in total!

Then, we’ll be using the Local Data of each planet to get coordinates. Your coordinates can be checked at any moment by using the Analysis Visor.

Lastly, make sure to disable multiplayer features and set the difficulty to Normal. If you don’t, you might have trouble with Portals and ships might not even be there when you reach their spots.

Now, let’s go over the best free Sentinel Ships you can find!

Dark Purple and White Hope Ship

This ship can be found in Clodyanm on the Ilmhull VIII System. Its portal coordinates are as follows:

Moon 5 / Sun 1 / Spider 8 / Bird 2 / Sun 1 / Face 3 / Anomaly 11 / Tri-Force 16 / Dragonfly 9 / Whale 12 / Ship 7 / Tree 15

Once you land on the planet, use your Analysis Visor. You will find this ship around +54.64, -140.12.

Mauve and Blue Sentinel Ship

This ship crash-landed on the Esusanm Delta of the Niwate-Edca System. Its portal address is the following:

Moon 5 / Sun 1 / Tree 15 / Sun 1 / Spiral 10 / Face 3 / Dragonfly 9 / Face 3 / Ship 7 / Dragonfly 9 / Face 3 / Anomaly 11

Its local coordinates are -39.78, +11.59. Use your Analysis Visor and head there, then just take the ship for yourself!

Orange and White Flameborn Ship

For this one, you will need to head to Zaber XV in the Yirstin System. Using a portal, input the following address:

Diplo 4 / Sun 1 / Ship 7 / Dragonfly 9 / Tri-Force 16 / Dragonfly 9 / Bird 2 / Moon 5 / Whale 12 / Ship 7 / Anomaly 11 / Sun 1

As usual, use your Analysis Visor to find the coordinates. Head toward +74.81, +42.80 to find the ship resting there.

Green and Black Purged Ship

This ship rests on planet Dawlist, found at the following portal address:

Diplo 4 / Bird 2 / Tree 15 / Face 3 / Tri-Force 16 / Moon 5 / Tri-Force 16 / Tree 15 / Tent 13 / Tri-Force 16 / Tri-Force 16 / Face 3

Once you’re on the planet, head toward +78.96, +124.87 with the help of your trusty Analysis Visor. You’ll find the ship out in the open.

White and Black Reborn Ship

For this ship, head to Tie Inceptor in the Scarif System. Its portal address is this:

Bird 2 / Bird 2 / Tree 15 / Anomaly 11 / Sun 1 / Moon 5 / Tri-Force 16 / Anomaly 11 / Whale 12 / Spiral 10 / Sun 1 / Tri-Force 16

Make your way to the local coordinates of +68.73, +18.08 to find this Sentinel crash site.

Black and Grey Fragment Ship

This last ship is found on Hype Alpha in the Suojensk System. As always, its portal address is here:

Diplo 4 / Bird 2 / Whale 12 / Anomaly 11 / Spiral 10 / Dragonfly 9 / Whale 12 / Sun 1 / Moon 5 / Bird 2 / Diplo 4 / Bird 2

Use your Analysis Visor to look for it and head toward the following local coordinates: +19.08, -49.71.
