Needless to say, they’re a resource you want to stockpile throughout your playthrough.

If you’re playing in the Fjordur map, then you’re in luck. After all, the map is filled with tons of Silica Pearls. The map has a handful of excellent farming posts, and if you know where to look, you can gather hundreds of them in just a few minutes.

Where to Find Silica Pearl in ARK Fjordur

You can harvest lots of silica pearls from clams that are lying on the sea floor or those that are latching onto the sides of underwater trenches. Technically, these clams can be found all over the ocean on Fjordur.

However, if you want a specific location to farm lots of these, then you’d want to head over to coordinates 56.0, 44.8.

Since you’ll be going underwater, make sure to equip the SCUBA tank and bring an aquatic tame with you. Here, you can find a massive underwater trench with lots of clams latching on the sides. You can also find those white pearls lying on the sea floor. You can also pick them up to get some silica pearls.

Another excellent location to farm silica pearls is on coordinates 50.7, 45.1. This location is a cave you can find underwater. All you have to do is swim through the underwater passage until you come across a cave with lots of silica pearls lying on the ground.

What’s the Best Way to Farm Silica Pearls?

You can harvest Silica Pearls by hand, but if you want to be more efficient, you need to bring the right equipment with you.

For this, the Anglerfish is by far the best tame you can bring for Silica Pearl farming. That’s because it can harvest way more pearls than you can by hand. But if you don’t have an Anglerfish, you can just use a SCUBA tank alongside a Baryonyx or a Sarco.

Since Silica Pearls used in lots of late-game recipes, you’d want to make regular farming trips instead of gathering them only when you need them. This is where a dedicated storage box filled with pearls will come in handy.

And there you have it. Two of the best places to farm Silica Pearls in ARK Fjordur. Both locations offer a high density of pearl nodes and can provide more than enough resources for your progression, especially if you revisit them regularly.
