However, unlike most tames in the game, the Rock Drake is not a knockout tame. Instead, it has the same mechanics as that of the wyverns. Specifically, if you want to get your own Rock Drake, you have to steal its egg first.

Where to Find Rock Drake Eggs in ARK Fjordur
The area where Rock Drakes spawn in Fjordur is on the Asgard realm, specifically on coordinates 41.0, 49.0. Here, you’ll find a huge forest filled with lots of tall, purple trees. You’ll need to find an entrance to a cave deep within the forest. This will take you to the area where Rock Drakes roam around.

Do keep in mind that this is an Aberration area. This means that it has Radiation, so it’s best to equip a hazard suit before you go. I also highly recommend bringing an Aberrant dino with you since Aberrant dinos are immune to radiation.
Once you found the entrance to the cave, delve deep until you come across a wide, open space with lots of purple trees. This is where you’ll find a handful of Rock Drake eggs. Keep in mind that the Rock Drakes in that area will aggro you after picking an egg.
As such, make sure to get out of the area as quickly as possible using your tame.
