ARK Fjordur: Where to Find Ovis | Ovis Spawn Location

The Ovis is a highly sought-after creature due to the Raw Mutton it provides. However, they can be a bit rare to find. Luckily, there are several locations where they spawn in Fjordur.

It’s no secret that Raw Mutton is one of the best food you can give to a carnivore creature during the taming process. Not only does it fill up a creature’s taming progress, but it can also affect the overall effectiveness of your taming process.

That’s why if you want to get as many Raw Muttons as possible, you’ll need to breed Ovis in your base. If you don’t know where to find them, this guide is for you.

Where to Find Ovis in ARK Fjordur

You can find Ovis in five separate locations. If you haven’t found one before, they are basically sheep-like creatures with long horns and a thick coat of fur. You can normally find Ovis roaming around snow biomes or even mountainous regions.

The only problem is that hostile creatures also roam those areas. As such, looking for an Ovis can involve a bit of luck. Ideally, you want to head over to these coordinates:

16.3, 66.5
21.9, 59.8
45.0, 55.0
42.5, 69.4
95.4, 20.5

Once you find an Ovis, you can pick it up using a flyer such as an Argy for breeding in your base. Alternatively, if you want some quick Raw Mutton, you can just kill it on the spot. They’re quite easy to hunt down as they have a relatively low HP. Just make sure to watch your surroundings as aggressive creatures might be lurking nearby.
