The newest addition to ARK’s free maps, Fjordur, has finally been released as an official map. One of the most exciting maps of this map is that it has a lot of caves waiting for players to explore. However, a few of them aren’t that easy to find.
One cave, in particular, is so secret that you won’t even know it exists. This is none other than the Lunar Cave. In this guide, I’ll show you where exactly you can find the entrance to this hidden cave.
Secret Lunar Cave Location Guide in ARK Fjordur

The entrance to the Lunar Cave isn’t obvious in the first place. It’s because its entrance is deep underwater and on the far reaches of the map. Specifically, you’ll need to head over to coordinates 86.3, 98.2 which are on the far southeastern portion.
Once you reach the coordinates, you will need to dive deep underwater to find a tiny trench with green, glowing rocks. Go through that tiny trench to find a Tek barrier that is basically the entrance to the Lunar Cave. That barrier actually serves as a barrier to prevent water from getting inside the cave.

Here, you’ll notice that the area has zero gravity. This means that your character will float around. This is because the Lunar Cave is actually from Genesis: Part 1 and is part of the Lunar Biome. You can dive deeper into the cave to find lots of cool and amazing stuff.
What’s amazing about the cave is that there are no aggressive creatures inside. Instead, what you’ll find are passive tame creatures such as the Bulbdogs, Featherlights, and Glowtails.
Further down, you’ll find yet another Tek door which will take you to an open area with a ceiling that looks like outer space.
