80 articlesSpace Cave runes are a unique addition to the Fjordur map. They’re runes which you’ll need to increase the level cap of your character by 10. That means that once you reach survivor level 105, which is the default cap, you can increase that by 10 more using these runes.
You’ll need a total of 200 runes to do this, and if you don’t know where to find them, then this guide is for you.
All Space Biome Rune Locations and How to Find the Space Cave in ARK Fjordur
To gather the runes, you need to find the entrance to the Space Cave first. To be fair, the entrance isn’t quite obvious, and for the most part, you won’t even be able to find it if you don’t look up guides online. Do take note that there are only 3 runes in the cave, and you can find the rest in various parts of the map.
Specifically, you’ll want to head over to coordinates 85.8, 98.2. The entrance is underwater, so you’ll need to dive deep until you find a small chasm on the sea floor. Enter that chasm until you reach a barrier. Go through that barrier and you now have entered the Space Cave.

The cave is pretty long and there’s even a large hole further. Hence, it’s best to bring a flyer if it’s not disabled, or some grappling hooks at the very least. You can find the first rune just near the massive hole at coordinates 86.9, 97.0. The second rune is far deeper down the cave, at coordinates 83.3, 94.6.
You’ll have to go through various areas until you reach an open area with bright trees scattered around. Meanwhile, the third rune is just a short distance from the second one, at coordinates 83.6, 92.5.
