The Magnetron and Geiger Counter are two resources you can find in ARC Raiders, usually sharing spawn locations.

Both of them are fairly rare but decently useful to have. One is required for quests, while the other can be recycled for rare materials. Both can also be sold for a pretty penny!

But where exactly do you find them? That’s what we’ll answer in this quick guide.

Looting in Stella Montis | ARC Raiders

So, let’s start with the bad news… the Magnetron and Geiger Counter are both reliant purely on luck to find. That is, they do not have any set spawn locations.

They also don’t belong to generic loot categories, instead being marked as Exodus items. That means they’re mostly reserved for high-tech indoor areas, but there’s no guarantees.

Conveniently, though, “high-tech indoor areas” is how you can describe the entirety of the Stella Montis map! So, if you’re wishing to get both of these items together, that map is your best bet.

However, as we said before, there are no set spawn locations. So, there’s not a set farming spot for those items, even in Stella Montis.

Your best bet is to just play as normal on that map while looting everything you can. All containers on the map have a chance of containing either of these items. Some players report the most luck at the Medical Research and Assembly areas, but it remains random.

It also seems that key-locked areas have a higher chance of containing these items. For example, check out the Stella Montis Security Checkpoint.

Also, while the Magnetron is at least required for the Snap and Salvage quest, the Geiger Counter seems to have no specific use.

That said, Geiger Counters can be recycled at the Raider Den to obtain Exodus Modules. Alternatively, you can sell them for 3500 coins a pop, which isn’t too shabby.

Sadly, that’s all there is to know about the locations for Magnetron and Geiger Counter items in ARC Raiders! We’re wishing you good luck getting these random items, Raider.
