This quest basically requires you to do a bit of recon work. Find some things to take photos of, browse some documents, and gather some resources. Normal work for a Raider, really!

Take a Photo of any Rovers
For this objective, you’ll need to head to the Sandbox. This is a specific area near the center of the underground section of Stella Montis.

Once you reach that area, you’ll be in… well, a box full of sand! There will be some rovers there that you can interact with. Simply approach them and interact with them to take a photo and complete the objective.
Search the Papers
Next up, as the objective’s full text says, you’ll need to head to the Lobby. It’s in the upper layer of Stella Montis.
Once you’re there, look for a door that says “Security, Restricted Access.” Breach it to gain access and then go inside.
Enter that room and you’ll enter the security room overlooking the lobby. Interact with the glowing papers there to check them out and complete this objective.
Deliver a Magnetron and a Flow Controller
Next up, you’ll need to find 1 Magnetron and 1 Flow Controller. Sadly, both of these items are marked as “Exodus” items.
What this means is that they have no set spawn locations, as they don’t belong to any one specific category. Essentially, you’re going to be down to pure luck on this one.
That said, they seem to be most common in areas of Stella Montis that have rarer drops. The Security office from the previous objective is a good place to search for them, for example.
Other potential good spots include key-locked rooms, such as the Stella Montis Security Checkpoint. Some players report finding them often in the Medical Research and Assembly areas as well, although it remains random.
Nonetheless, that’s all you need to know to complete the Snap and Salvage quest in ARC Raiders! The last two objectives require luck, so we’re wishing you some luck looting out there.
