ARC Raiders Assessor Matrix Location

The Assessor Matrix is a new resource added to ARC Raiders with the Flashpoint update.

This resource is primarily used to be dismantled for Advanced ARC Powercells and Advanced Mechanical Components. If the name hasn’t given it away yet, it is also only obtained from the new ARC Assessors.

In this guide, I’ll tell you where exactly to go to find this material.

Where to Find Assessor Matrix

To find the Assessor Matrix, you’ll first need to wait until any map has the Close Scrutiny condition. This can happen on all exterior maps, which leaves only Stella Montis out.

Before you set out, though, I recommend making sure to bring Smoke Grenades and a Photoelectric Cloak. They’ll be key to keeping you safe.

Now, once you start a Close Scrutiny match, try to get to a high place. From there, look around until you see a dark-grey rhombus-shaped ARC making a landing. It should look something like the example above.

These ARCs are the ARC Assessors. As I mentioned before, they are the ones you need to get the Assessor Matrix from.

Alternatively, Assessors will also emit a massive red beam of light straight into the sky once they’ve landed. This gives away their position pretty easily, though you have a better chance of being first if you saw it before the beams come out.

Either way, approach the Assessor once you spot it on the ground. Do be careful about other ARCs, though! Nonetheless, you’ll see that you’re able to breach and loot the Assessor’s pods without needing to fight it.

However, I recommend having Smoke Grenades and the Photoelectric Cloak at the ready when looting. Assessors themselves are passive, but they can summon other ARCs to protect themselves. Plus, you always run the risk of encountering hostile players.

The Assessor Matrix seems to have a high or nearly guaranteed drop chance when looting the Assessors, from what I’ve seen. Much unlike the Dolabra Blueprint, which you also get from them!

Either way, that’s all you need to know to get the Assessor Matrix in ARC Raiders. Play on Close Scrutiny maps and loot Assessors for them. Easier said than done, but that’s the gist of it!
