Most of the legendary items in Wartales can be obtained by defeating certain bosses. However, some can be looted from certain ruins.
That said, the upgrade process for all of them remains the same.
First off, you want to head to your Companion Training Grounds. Once there, simply look for Hired Goon Vaawaos and interact with him.
Click on the Upgrade button to open the upgrade interface. At this point, all you have to do is select which Legendary weapon you want to upgrade. Click the Forge button afterward.
Do take note that each upgrade will cost you hundreds of gold, and the higher you upgrade a weapon, the more gold you’ll end up spending.
However, you can only upgrade your weapons to a certain level that’s based on the highest level of the unit in your party plus two.
So if your highest level unit is level 9, you can only upgrade your legendary weapons to a maximum of level 11.
As such, if you want to increase the upgrade limit to even higher levels, your best option is to look for a unit that has a higher level in the first place.
