One such puzzle involves the Salazar family insignia inside the Salazar tomb. This guide will teach you how to solve it.
Salazar Family Insignia Puzzle Solution in Resident Evil 4 Remake
This puzzle is actually quite easy to solve.
You will play as Ashley once you reach Chapter 9. To start, make your way to the Salazar tomb which you can find right next to the mausoleum, as shown in the image above.

All Viper Locations – Resident Evil 4Mar 28, 2023As you approach the tomb, you’ll notice symbols on four of its sides. Right in front of each symbol is a lamp sitting on top of a pedestal.
The objective here is to match the lamp with the right symbol on the tomb.
Also, each lamp has a small symbol on it which will correspond to a symbol on the tomb. So to solve the puzzle, you just have to place the lamp with a symbol that matches the one on each side of the tomb.
Since Ashley carries a lamp with a moon symbol with her, you just have to place it in front of the side with the moon symbol.
You’ll also notice that another lamp is already in there. Simply replace it with the lamp you’re carrying and then place it on another side with a matching table.
In total, there are three different symbols which are the moon, the cross, and the circle. After you managed to match the symbols, the tomb gate will then open, granting you access to the Salazar family insignia.
