Do you know that there is a way on debugging your PlayStation 5 without the use of a Blu-ray disc? Well, if you haven’t heard of that, you have come to the perfect tutorial for you.

Here we will be telling you how to manage your debug settings using the new exploit of Spectre.

Without further ado, let’s start the fix!

How to Run the Debug Settings on PS5 (4.03/4.50/4.51)

The first thing you would want to do is to check the firmware. To know this, you have to follow this path first:

Settings > System > System Software > Console Information

Once you are there, take a look at the digits beside the System software. You should be on firmware 4.03 or 4.50. The firmware can be after the first four digits that you can see after the dash.

Next, still follow the path but instead of Console Information, select System Software Update and Settings.

There, you have to uncheck or switch off both the Download Update Files Automatically and Install Update Files Automatically.

Network Setup

The next thing you have to do is to connect to the internet. Go to Settings > Network > Settings.

There are two ways to set this up. And for this one, we are going to hop on the shorter path in enabling the debug settings using a website that already has the exploit setup.

To do that, select Set Up Internet Connection. Once you are there, select the option on the internet you are connected to, then go to Advanced Settings.

From there, go to DNS Settings, and select Manual. Doing this will enable you to change the Primary DNS. Input 192.241.221.79 or 165.227.83.145 if the first server is down. Click OK, and wait until you are connected to the network.

Now, go back to Settings > System > Web Browser. Make sure you enable both Allow Cookies and Enable JavaScript.

Then proceed to Settings > User’s Guide, Health and Safety, and Other Information. Access the User’s Guide, and if the pop-up screen is blank, try logging out and logging in to your profile to refresh. Now, go back to the User’s Guide, and click Yes.

Load the Debug Settings

Once you are in, you will see different exploit hosts on the screen. Press the L2 button on your controller twice and it will trigger the URL Redirector.

In the first slot, enter https://es7in1.site.

You will be redirected to the host and click the ES button on the top left of the screen. And then, Get Debug Settings. If an error occurs, just press OK and reload the site. When it asks you if you are ready, press OK.

From there, it will run the exploit. You will know that it is a success if the last message is shown as Connecting to RPC server in 10s. Otherwise, reboot the PS5 and try it all over again.

To exit this page, press the circle button and not anything else. This should be the only button you will use to exit, or else everything will crash. But if you don’t want to risk pressing any button, that should also do. Just wait for the There is not enough free system memory alert and just select OK to exit.

Exiting will lead you back to the Settings of your device. Go back to the main screen, and then to Settings again to load the Debug Settings.

Explore the Debug Settings

Inside this are lots of categories that are developed test kits. To check some, go to Debug Settings > License Activation. The settings inside can allow you to enable the Media Codex which normally requires you to connect to Sony servers.

Test the Package Installer

To test the package installer, go to Debug Settings > Game > press OK > Package Installer. Here you can see all the package installers available on your device now.
