Hex a Ring is one of the Season 1 challenges where you are pitted with other players to be the last one standing on a rotating cylinder. The game gets difficult because you have 3 layers of your floor tiles melt away as you step on them.

Passing on three layers of tiles would create a hole, making it difficult to navigate as you and your other opponents jostle each other to be the last man standing.

Today, we are going to give you some tips and tricks on how to go out on top and be the one to get the crown for this event.

Tips on How to Win Hex a Ring in Fall Guys

The objective of this game is to be the last one to be eliminated. And if you are here reading this, that shows that it’s easier said than done.

The first stages are easy. All you have to do is navigate towards the opposite side of the rotating cylinder and enemies would get eliminated fairly easy.

This is in preparation for the final stage where not many can seem to pass. Familiarise yourself with the rotating cylinder speed and get the feel for the gameplay in these 2 stages.

Keep in Front

While you focus on surviving, try to keep in front of everyone on the map. Don’t go too far because you might slide off the cylinder.

One strategy is to navigate from edge to edge, stay in front and slowly walk your way back and forth from the top edge to the bottom.

You could also stay on the edge and jump from tile to tile. This is slow but at the pace of the cylinder speed. Do this while you can but be careful of other enemies looking for opportunities to push you off.

Don’t Spam Jump

Spam jumping is one of the easiest ways to get you thrown out of the cylinder. Jumping when the tiles are rotating could set your timing off and you end up jumping off the edge of the cylinder by mistake or landing on a hole that would get you off the platform.

When jumping, try focusing on doing your jumps on one tile at a time or dodging other enemies trying to grab you.

Your go-to move in this game is to run across the tiles. This holds especially true when you are almost over the edge and trying to catch up. Jump only when necessary.

Avoid Tile Edges

Standing or jumping on tile edges sometimes makes you slide off. This could be dangerous when landing on a red tile that disappears and leaves you sliding off the title’s edge. Try to time your jump to land at the centre of each tile.

When running, slow down when are in the middle of the tile and not the edge.

Ignore Grabbers

Unless you’re on the edges of the cylinder, grabbers usually do not pose as much of a threat. They usually try to grab you just to scare you into doing something foolish like jumping towards the edge while you try to get away from them. There are a lot of examples of this in YouTube funny moment fall guys videos.

Most of the content points to grabbers harassing a player to make panicked actions like running off a cylinder or jumping off them. It’s funny but not so much if you’re on the receiving end.

When to use Grab

If you want to grab opponents and achieve good results, grab them only by pantsing. Pantsing is when you grab the enemy just before they jump over a hole. Doing this will hold them down and when done in the right situation, get them eliminated from the match.

You could pop people off the edges but only do this if you are on the 3rd or second layer of your floor. A lot of things can go wrong especially when at the edges and it’s best not to risk it on a red tile.
