A group of former Fall Guys developers has banded together to create a new studio called Panic Stations. According to them, they’ll be focusing on creating co-op multiplayer games, with the aim of releasing a few titles per year.

The new studio comprised veteran ex-Fall Guys developers Dan Hoang, Joe Walsh, Oliver Hindle, Steve Taylor, as well as Paul Croft, who also co-founded Mediatonic.

And in case you’re wondering, Mediatonic is the same studio behind the hit game, Fall Guys.

Together, they’re aiming to channel their experience in creating accessible, community-driven multiplayer experiences into new projects designed for players to laugh, cooperate, and sometimes hilariously fail together.

In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz, the team said they want to focus on “games that bring immediate joy to players and bring people closer together.”

Joe Walsh, who is Panic Station’s design director, described their goal as making “the silliest possible games we can dream up.”

Fall Guys became a massive hit thanks to its bright visuals, simple controls, and unpredictable physics-based gameplay. Its blend of party-game silliness and competitive tension helped it stand out in the crowded multiplayer market.

Panic Stations plans to expand on that spirit by exploring new ways players can interact and collaborate.

According to the team, they’re focusing on creating games that don’t just entertain but encourage connection.

A Studio Comprising a Veteran Team With Proven Chemistry

It’s worth mentioning that the studio’s founders have years of experience working together at Mediatonic, where they helped develop and maintain Fall Guys through multiple seasons and updates.

It goes without saying that their familiarity with each other’s creative strengths gives Panic Stations a strong foundation.

The team is also currently expanding and hiring across several roles, signaling that the studio’s first project is moving steadily into production.

Though details are scarce, early hints suggest the game will continue the group’s tradition of crafting experiences that are “fun to fail at” and “even better to share.”

As the studio continues development on its first game, fans of Fall Guys and co-op gaming in general have good reason to keep an eye on Panic Stations.

While the studio’s first project hasn’t been revealed, Panic Stations confirmed it’s currently working on its debut title, which will emphasize teamwork, communication, and lighthearted chaos.
