Core Keeper: How to Defeat Ghorm the Devourer
Though Ghrom may seem intimidating at first, with enough preparation, the fight against him shouldn’t be much of a challenge.
Bosses in Core Keeper can pose a significant challenge to the player, as they usually require a lot of preparation. But it might be hard to come up with the best strategy for each encounter.
Fortunately, the fight with Ghorm can be easily exploited, so if you have trouble with this fight, you don’t need to worry too much.
How to Defeat Ghorm the Devourer in Core Keeper
The best way to fight Ghorm is to chase after his backside and hit it repeatedly. The problem is that the boss leaves a whole lot of slime behind it, slowing you down. So, you’ll need a few specific items to make sure you’re able to keep up.
Crafting the Right Equipment Before Fighting Ghorm the Devourer
First, craft two swift rings, using 20 Iron bar, 6 Ancient gemstone. Have both equipped at the same time.
Also, eat a meal that increases your speed, like the Spicy Tulip Salad. Now, there are no necklaces that increase movement speed, so your best bet is to either use the Grub Egg Necklace (which can be found randomly) or craft a Gold Crystal Necklace, using 22 gold bars.
But the most important thing you’ll need is the Slime Sword, which can be crafted using 20 Slime and 15 Copper Bars. Not only does it deal a lot of damage, but it also has the ability to slow down the enemy it hits. With it, you should have no trouble chasing down Ghorm!
