The beta of Modern Warfare is currently available to all Playstation players and other platforms with Early Access. Upon starting the game, you are only given an M4 assault rifle.
When you go to the new gunsmith, you’ll see some attachments you can equip, but are locked. So how can you obtain all of the other weapons?

You can level up the M4 Assault Rifle, and you’ll get attachments for it as the level increases. To unlock new weapon, you just need to go to the Progression Section at the Gunsmith.
Once you are there, you’ll see that when your M4 reaches level 13 you are going to obtain the FTAC Recon Assault Rifle.
You can obtain the M16, 556 Icarus, and FSS Hurricane as you increase your progression. When you level up each of these weapons and get attachments, except for a few.
Upon obtaining all of the Receivers, you can change the weapon type, from the M4, an Assault Rifle, to the 556 Icarus, an LMG.
