“The Sailor’s Treasure” is one of the many side quests in Wuthering Waves 2.1.

The quest begins when Phoebe hears a tale about a sailor and some treasure he left behind. Follow Phoebe’s tip and try to figure out what happened to the treasure. Maybe it’s some fantastic loot or maybe it’s nothing… but either way, it’s an adventure!

In this guide, we’ll help you complete the entirety of “The Sailor’s Treasure” side-quest. You’ll also get the new “Sailor’s Legacy” trophy for this quest.

Start | Wuthering Waves: The Sailor's Treasure Guide

You can start “The Sailor’s Treasure” quest in Wuthering Waves by getting near the Resonance Beacon at the Port of Riccioli, Riccioli Islands. A dialogue scene will automatically start where Phoebe will tell you a tale of a sailor and their treasure. Big if true!

Toretto

To follow up on Phoebe’s tale, look for Toretto and talk with him. He’s in the Port of Riccioli, directly north of where you talk with Phoebe. You can just glide down to his location from the Resonance Beacon. That said, Toretto isn’t particularly forthcoming with information, but he does mention the sailor’s Gondola…

Gondola

After talking with Toretto, go to the dock to the west and interact with the Gondola there. Phoebe will talk with the Gondola Echo, which seems to be trying to lead you to a specific spot. Now that’s a juicy clue in this treasure hunt!

To Serene Bay We Go!

Serene Bay Location | Wuthering Waves: The Sailor's Treasure Guide

To follow up on the Gondola’s clue, go to Serene Bay. It’s far to the west of the Port of Riccioli. If you wish, you can board the Gondola and use it to travel there. However, that’s not really required, so you can do as you please.

The treasure spot

Once you get to Serene Bay, simply follow the quest marker. It will take you to a small patch of flowers by the western shore, next to one of the many shipwrecks there.

Shiny!

When you get there, use your Sensor Utility. This will reveal a golden shine on the ground nearby. Investigate it to reveal a chest with some strange inscriptions. Just make sure you don’t end up chasing one of the nearby Supply Chests that are part of one of Serene Bay’s Treasure Spots instead. That said, if you haven’t looted them yet, now’s a good time to do so!

Ahab location

After picking the treasure map up and noting the weird inscriptions on the chest, return to the Port of Riccioli. Find Ahab and talk with him. He’ll be hanging out directly northeast of the Resonance Beacon. He’ll manage to decipher the inscriptions and read them for you. Ol’ Ahab knows a trick or two, as expect.

Sailor's Legacy

The quest will automatically end once Ahab shares his findings. So, that’s the end of “The Sailor’s Treasure” in Wuthering Waves! You’ll get the “Sailor’s Legacy” trophy for completing this quest.
