The Masterwork Handbow can be obtained by defeating Captain Swallow, a mini-boss of Shrine Piece – Grindana. It is a rare drop, but the drop rate isn’t the worst, so it shouldn’t take you a lot of attempts. That doesn’t mean the farming will be quick – you’ll have to start the whole location over every time you want to fight Captain Swallow, and each attempt takes around 4 minutes.
How Does the Masterwork Handbow Work in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
The Masterwork Handbow shoots 6 crossbolts, which ricochet onto other enemies on a critical hit. The weapon only has one bolt of ammo in the magazine, but it automatically reloads on each critical hit. On top of that, if a crossbolt gets stuck in your target, each will enhance the damage dealt by the crossbolts by 3%.
That’s on top of the high damage this weapon deals on its own, not to mention its high crit rate. In most cases, it should be enough to one-shot most enemies, even on the highest difficulty setting. So, don’t be discouraged by the time it takes to farm – it’s definitely worth it.
