This Artifact isn’t quite as nice as the gemstone it’s named after, but it’s nice to have.

The Sapphire Artifact is one of the dozens of Artifacts you can collect while exploring the Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

It’s a fairly common low-tier Artifact, but it’s also useful due to its decent resistances and low radiation emission. Plus, it’s required for a few side quests, such as one of the jobs Boozer might send you on!

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to find a Sapphire Artifact whenever you want in Stalker 2.

Find a Sapphire Artifact Guide

Sapphire artifact marked on map in Stalker 2 (Electric Field Anomaly)

The Sapphire Artifact has a random chance to spawn in any Electric Field Anomaly in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. An example of an easy-to-reach Electric Anomaly Field is the one near the central-eastern edge of the Garbage region, shown above.

To find the Artifact itself, you’ll just have to go through the usual Artifact-finding process. We covered it in detail in our guide on how to use the Echo Detector. You’ll have to just use your Echo Detector (or any other Artifact Detector you have) and look around the area until you find the Sapphire Artifact.

Sadly, the Sapphire Artifact’s location is completely random. Which Artifact spawns is also random, so you might get another Artifact instead if you’re unlucky! To work around this, make sure to save before attempting to find the Sapphire Artifact. If you don’t get it, you can reload your save and retry until the Sapphire Artifact spawns for you.

Otherwise, you’ll have to leave the Electro Field and try again later. You can go to other Electric Field Anomalies instead. The map above marks some of them you can find spread over the Zone.

Emission event in Stalker 2

As a final alternative, wait for an Emission event to happen. They are signaled by thunder and red skies, so you can’t miss them! These events reset the Artifact spawns, so they can help when nothing else works.

Nonetheless, now you know everything you need to be able to find a Sapphire Artifact in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Sadly, a lot of it depends on pure random luck, but you at least know where to look now!
