“A Room With A Garou” is one of the three new secondary quests added to RuneScape: Dragonwilds as part of the April 2026 anniversary update. It is set in the Fractured Plains and starts with Caratacus. He is an elder Garou who has lost his eyesight with age and is looking to spend his final years somewhere peaceful. He cannot tell if you are a Garou or not but he trusts you to help him out regardless.

The quest itself is pretty straightforward, requiring you to build a house for Caratacus. It is a nice change of pace from the combat heavy quests in the game. In this guide, I will walk you through the exact steps you need to take so you can quickly wrap up this quest.

How to Complete the Room With A Garou Quest

To start the quest, head to the upper left corner of the Fractured Plains. Specifically, go to the location I have marked on the map below. Once you get there, you will find an Elder Garou standing on top of a broken wooden foundation. Just walk up to him and interact with the Elder Garou to accept the quest.

He will ask you to build a wooden house for him, and he wants it built right around where he is standing. The basic requirements are simple: four walls and a roof covering him. Just place walls around the edges of that broken wooden foundation he is standing on, then build a roof on top. Once you are done, talk to him again to turn in the quest.

That’s It

So that is really all there is to it. All you needed to do was build a simple house for Elder Garou. In return, you get three new decorations for your base: Hanging Tools, Pots On A Bench, and a Sawhorse. Nothing that will change how you play, but it is nice to have if you enjoy making your home look a little less empty. The whole thing takes maybe five minutes, so it is worth knocking out while you are in the area.

If you want to do another easy quest with a solid reward, then check out my guide on the Animal Magnetism quest. It unlocks the Ava’s Accumulator which is a handy item to have!
