You can now run the town of Kingsmarch as part of the new Settlers of Kalguur league in POE (Path of Exile), and you’ll unlock Shipping when you send your first shipment.

Shipping essentially allows you to trade away some of the new resources for other things. You can get equipment, Runes, and other currencies. All you have to do is start up the Shipping dock in Kingsmarch!

In this guide, we’ll give you a step-by-step guide on how to send the very first shipment in POE’s latest update.

How to Send First Shipment | Kingsmarch Shipping

Tujen and Dock location

To be able to send your first shipment in POE, you will first need to build the Shipping dock in Kingsmarch. You can build it near where Tujen is, on the southeastern part of Kingsmarch.

Unlocking the Shipping Dock

You will need to pay a fee of 10 Gold as well as use 5 Crimson Iron Ore. If you don’t yet have the ore, check out our guide on how to get Crimson Iron Ore!

Raulf the Recruiter location

Once you’ve built the dock, go over to the management building in the northern part of Kingsmarch and talk to Raulf. Select “Town Recruitment” while talking to him.

Sailors icon example

Now, you’ll need to hire a Sailor. You can tell Sailors apart by looking for the ship-shaped icon near their name. Similar to Miners, the number next to the icon indicates their rank. Higher rank Sailors are more efficient but also charge higher wages.

Tujen Shipping

When you’ve hired a sailor, return to Tujen near the dock and talk to him. Select “Shipping” while talking with him.

Shipping Interface 1

You can now define your shipment on the top left part of the Shipping interface. Add Sailors to your Crew and add Kingsmarch-exclusive resources to the Shipment. Do note that adding more resources will increase the ship’s Risk, which is denoted by the gauge next to Shipment. You can lower Risk by having a full crew and hiring high-rank Sailors.

Once you have your shipment ready, click on Select Port and pick any available port. You can only select Riben Fell for your first shipment, so don’t worry too much about it.

Shipping Interface 2

Lastly, you can now see how long the voyage will take and the Sailors’ wages. When you’re ready, click on Set Sail to send your first Kingsmarch shipment in POE! That’s all there is to the new Shipping mechanic.
