Path of Exile – How to Get Wheat | Settlers of Kalguur

As you play through Settlers of Kalguur in Path of Exile, you will eventually come across the need for wheat. Especially if you want to establish trade routes as some of them require wheat. In this guide, I will provide a step-by-step method of how to easily get wheat through farming.

How to Get Wheat

The first thing you need to do is to unlock farming. And to do that, you have to unlock Rank 2 of your town. You can do that by interacting with the hammer icon (Town Improvements) inside the Tavern of Kingsmarch and paying 15 Gold and 5 Orichalcum Ore.

Once you have reached Rank 2, head to the north-west side of Kingsmarch and you will find an NPC called Sonja, The Farmer. Talk to her.

After talking with Sonja, interact with the hammer icon (Farming Improvements) which is located in the same area. Simply click on the UNLOCK button and pay 45 Gold to unlock farming.

Farming Wheat

Once you have unlocked farming, make your way to the farming plots which are also located in the same general area. You will find information boards at the front of the plots called Farming Plot as you can see marked in the image below.

Interact with it and you will get the menu shown below. Now in this menu, click on the small down arrow button to open up the drop-down menu under “Currently Farming”. In the drop-down menu, select Wheat.

After that, click on the “Manage Workers” button which is located above “Currently Farming”. Here you need to assign workers which specialize in farming. These types of workers (farmers) are represented by a shovel icon which is marked in the image below.
