Orichalcum Ore is one of the new resources you’ll need to get in the new Settlers of Kalguur league for Path of Exile.

It can be used to upgrade the new town of Kingsmarch, or used in trades to obtain resources and equipment. It’s the second tier of metals as well, following the standard Crimson Iron Ore you can get early in the game.

In this game, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about how to mine Orichalcum Ore in POE’s latest version.

How to Get Orichalcum Ore | Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur

Orichalcum Ore Shrine

You can get Orichalcum Ore after you complete the “Prisoner’s Gate” area during Act 1 in Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur. At that point, Orichalcum Ore nodes will start spawning randomly throughout most zones in the world. These nodes are pretty unique as they look like shrines, as you can see above.

Get ready for combat and interact with the Orichalcum Ore shrine to initiate an event. Hordes of enemies will spawn and rush you down as soon as you click on it. Stand your ground and decimate your foes to complete the event!

Orichalcum Ore Marked

Once you complete the event, you should see a message saying that the Orichalcum Ore node is marked. A portal should also appear, letting some miners from Kingsmarch reach the node. You’re all done here, it’s time to head back to town!

Refining the Orichalcum Ore

Return to the town of Kingsmarch now and go to the Mining station on the western side of the town. Interact with the Mining Information out in front.

Orichalcum Ore Information

You should see how much Orichalcum Ore you’ve marked as well as the production rate from your miners. It’s the second line from the top, right below the Crimson Iron Ore.

Manage Workers

If there are no miners working on the Orichalcum Ore, click on the “Manage Workers” icon.

Assigned to Orichalcum Ore

Use the drop-down menu near any of your assigned miners and make sure that they are set to Orichalcum Ore. This will make them start refining the node you marked previously. The more miners you assign, the faster they’ll refine it!

Overall, this is pretty similar to how you get Crimson Iron Ore, which you should be familiar with already if you’re already trying to mine Orichalcum Ore.

But well, that’s all there is for you to do here! All that’s left is for you to wait for real-life time for your miners in Kingsmarch to refine the Orichalcum Ore. It’s a good idea to keep exploring and playing the game at this point so that you can mark more nodes for the miners to work with.
