Marvel Snap is Marvel’s newest multiplayer collectible card game. It features the familiar iconic marvel heroes fighting against other players in a strategic card battle game.

After months of being in beta, the game has just been finally released on PC and Mobile, so a lot of players are still learning the ropes on which strategies are the best.

Here are the best 10 top tips we can give you to kick off your Marvel Snap games. Let’s dive in

Top 10 Starting Tips for Beginners

The game comprises dropping cards from your deck in one of three locations. The goal is to win those locations’ most power out of the end of six turns. Whoever has won two out of the three locations will win cubes. These cubes are essential in upgrading your rank.

1. It’s ok to retreat

The first thing you have to know is that it’s ok to retreat. Retreating is important especially if the other player snaps and you feel that you’re going to lose.

Losing a ton of cubes is not worth it. It’s better to do a tactical retreat than to stubbornly lose many cubes. You will only lose the ones you currently see on top during the match.

2. Balance your deck

Don’t just fill your deck with high-level cards. It’s imperative that you optimize it to deal with multiple situations.

You need to mix up the cards that give you energy and the ones that have great effects. There are actually cheap cards that are strong like Scarlet Witch that change the location with just 2 energy.

3. Use undo button

It may not be obvious, but there’s actually an undo button in the game. Use this if you simply want to do a mental reset or if you want to retract your entire cards.

To undo, press your energy and it will reveal the undo button.

4. Knowing the revealed order

The reveal order is not random. Not many players know this, but the person with the glowing name is the one whose cards are revealed first.

Use this information to your advantage.

5. Who wins the tie

To determine who wins the tie, the game analyzes the location to see who has the most power. So if you have the most power, you win the location.

It’s that easy.

6. Use the snap

Don’t be afraid to snap. It might take some guts, but snapping is essential in psychological warfare. Not only that, but you also get much more cubes especially if you know you’re going to win.

7. Cards you don’t use

If u want to progress in the game, don’t forget to use your uncommon cards. Don’t be a cheapskate and skimp out on upgrading your cards.

It’s very cheap to upgrade your cards at first, so do it frequently.

8. Do your mission

Missions are Challenges and seasons pass.  By doing your missions, you can earn a lot of credits, and gold and unlock new cards.

9. Check the shop daily

Players can earn 50 credits every day if they check the shop daily. Checking the shop is very easy and it’s very well worth the 50 credits.

10. Location tips

Locations can make or break a game. Make sure to look at the effect of each location. For example, the Atlantis location has +5 power if you have 1 card in it. Use this information to your advantage
