Sabotaging a UESC Comms Antenna sounds like a simple enough objective in Marathon until you are actually in Perimeter trying to locate one. The only information you are given is that they are located in the North and South Relays. But knowing that alone is not enough as the antennas are not sitting somewhere obvious. And spending too long randomly searching for one is a good way to end a run badly.

I will show you the exact location of the antenna in this guide so you can head straight to it, get the sabotage done and not waste a run figuring it out on your own.

How to Sabotage a UESC Comms Antenna in North or South Relay

The UESC Comms Antennas are located on top of buildings and have bright orange color. When you get close to one, a marker pops up on your screen showing its exact location. I found the antenna at South Relay the easiest to reach. Simply head on to the location that I have marked on the map below.

Once you get there, move up the ramp and climb the building straight ahead of you. You will find the UESC Comms Antenna on the roof of this building. Interact with the antenna to sabotage it. After doing that, wait a few seconds for the antenna to blow up and you are done!

That’s It!

That is the UESC Comms Antenna taken care of and the second part of the Welcome to Tau Ceti contract done. This is one of the earlier contracts but it sets the tone for the kind of contract work you will be doing throughout Marathon, knowing exactly where to go before you drop makes all the difference.

One thing worth keeping in mind is that the explosion after sabotage is quite loud and will draw attention fast. So get clear of the antenna the moment you are done and do not stick around longer than you need to! If you need help with other contracts then check out some of my other Marathon guides on the site.
