Wuthering Waves 2.4 expands the game’s main storyline, letting you unlock and explore the new region of Rinascita. One of the main city-states of Rinascita, this is the next region where the story will take place. Not to mention, there’ll be loads of new things to find as you explore it! Read on, we’ll tell you everything you need to reach this region.
How to Unlock Septimont | Wuthering Waves 2.4
The only way to unlock the new Septimont sub-region in Rinascita is to progress through the game’s main story. More specifically, you need to reach Main Quest Chapter II Act V “Shadow of Glory.” At that point, the story will automatically take you to Septimont, it’s as simple as that!
Sadly, though, there’s no other way to reach this sub-region right now. You have to fully catch up to the current main story quest to get there. Unlike other story chapters and events, there’s no Early Access option to skip right to this area. Also, no, you can’t just use a gondola or fly to Septimont early. The game will teleport you away!
Furthermore, this means that you also need to be caught up in the story to participate in the current Septimont “The Everglorious Summit” Area Event. It will only be available from June 14, 2025 to July 23, 2025. If you want to participate in that event, you’ll need to be caught up in the story before it ends.
However, you can use the Early Access feature under the “Next Stop: Rinascita” event to speed things up. It will take you to the start of Main Quest Chapter II Act I, giving you a recap of the Chapter I story. You can then return to Chapter I at any time without losing progress. That said, you’ll still need to progress the Chapter II story until Act V.
So, yeah, ultimately you can only unlock Septimont by naturally progressing the main story in Wuthering Waves 2.4. It’s unmissable as part of the story, but there’s no way to skip to it if you’re short on time.
Gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
