13 articlesIf you’ve played through the Boiling Point DLC’s final mission, “A New America,” you’ve probably thwarted the bomb threat and returned to headquarters completely unaware of the game’s darkest secret. Tucked away behind a highly illegal sequence of events is a hidden ending that completely flips the script on your supposed heroism.
Unlocking this hidden cutscene and the exclusive Handcuff cosmetic requires you to do something that you are not supposed to. If you’re ready to see what happens when things go terribly wrong, here is how to do it!
How to Unlock the Secret Ending + The Handcuff Cosmetic
As you are playing through “A New America“, you will reach a point where you have to stop the flower guy. After stopping him, you can secure the evidence (.357 Magnum). Once you have secured the evidence, you will be allowed to defuse the bomb. Doing this will give you the normal ending.
But to get the secret ending, you have to instead activate the detonator for the bombs to go off. Aim at the detonator lying near the flower guy and you will get the prompt to “ACTIVATE“. Do that and you will get the secret ending once the mission is completed.
