Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is a remake of a pretty dang old yet still popular skateboarding game series, which pretty much every individual who grew up in the early 2000s has seen or played at some point in their lives. There are plenty of goals to do in each of the game’s many levels, and they usually involve doing a trick at certain spots of the map. Here is a guide for one of the goals at the airport map!

How to Do 540 Shove It Over The Gate Transfer Gap in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 | Airport Goals

There are a lot of goals that involve tricks in the airport, and one of them requires you to do a 540 shove it over the gate transfer gap. If you are unsure of how to do this, it is actually really easy once you figure out the spot it is referring to.

First, head all the way down through the security checkpoints until you reach Gate C. Once you head down the escalators into Gate C, jump straight down to the lower level. This will take you to the sort of basement part of the airport.

Before you jumped down, you might have noticed the doors labeled C3, C4, etc. These are the gate transfers that you can do this goal on. So, once you are at the bottom part, use the ramps beneath one of these gate transfers to get airborne.

Once you are in the air, make sure to try and get to the other side of the small pathway that you just jumped over. As you are doing this, do a 540 Shove It by holding down and pressing square three times, or whatever the equivalent is in your control scheme if you are using a different one.

If you did it correctly, it should say that you performed a “540 Shove It + Gate Transfer” at the bottom. If the latter part does not appear, you might have been too high up. Simply try again and see if it works this time.

Upon a successful execution of the trick over one of the gate transfer spots, you should now get a notification that the goal has been completed. Congratulations, that is all there is to this specific task!

If you are a completionist looking to get 100% of the game done, then make sure to check out our guide on how to get the secret tape in the Foundry location in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake as well. This will kickstart your journey into fully completing the game, if you are in to that kind of stuff. It does take place in a different map, though, but it is the ideal place to start hunting down secrets!
