These challenges form the main basis of the game as your goal is to complete as many of them in a limited time. Some of these challenges can be quite tricky, often with many steps you need to complete. One such challenge is the Hardflip the Castle & Foundation Gap challenge for the Waterpark map. How to Hardflip the Castle & Fountain Gap
Starting off, the first thing you need to do for the Hardflip the Castle & Foundation Gap challenge is to understand how you need to do a Hardflip. You can do this easily by checking the Flip Trick Select menu.
The inputs you need are: Hold Left Trigger to the top left + Square
It’s not a special trick, so you do not need the special meter full. So, we recommend that you practice the move until you can reliably do it. Make sure that you have plenty of air to do it.

Once you have the hang of it, you need to make your way to the correct location as you need to do the trick between the Castle and Foundation Gap. Start by going to the Entrance that you can find near the Arcade.
This will take you to the ramp right above the castle. From here, you want to speed your way to the ramp ahead and perform a Spine Transfer. Try to stay in the middle because the ramp that comes after narrows down a bit.
Having the Special meter full here can help as it will give you more speed. We also recommend starting from the top so that you can get as much speed as possible.
After performing a Spine Transfer, the next ramp will follow immediately. Make sure you are prepared and perform the Hard Flip from there. Doing so will allow you to clear the gap and perform the trick, allowing you to complete the Hardflip the Castle & Foundation Gap challenge.
As you can see, the ramp does narrow and comes at you very quickly when you’re going at speed. It’s very difficult to correct your direction in the air. So, try to stay in the middle so that you have an easier time completing the challenge.
