Last Rite is one of the best Operators in Arknights: Endfield, as long as you use the best builds, gear, weapons, and teams for her.

She’s a greatsword-wielding Cryo Operator. She’s primarily a hypercarry DPS, capable of dishing out incredible damage after she ramps up. Of course, though, that’s only if you really play into her strengths!

In this guide, I’ll tell you everything you need to make Last Rite shine.

How to Play Last Rite | Operator Basics

Last Rite using her Combo Skill | Arknights Endfield

Last Rite is a character that primarily relies on her Combo Skill for most of her damage output. Her Combo Skill triggers whenever an enemy has 3 or more Cryo Infliction stacks.

So, right from the start, you can see that Last Rite is best when played with Operators that can help her build those Infliction stacks. Trying to consistently get 3 Cryo Infliction stacks with just Last Rite isn’t really optimal at all!

When Last Rite does her Combo Skill, she’ll consume all Cryo Infliction stacks. She gets 15 Ultimate Energy per stack, and a 107% Bonus DMG Multiplier per Infliction Stack.

While the Ultimate Energy gain is static, the bonus damage increases up to an absurd 240% when the Combo Skill is fully maxed out. To top it all off, her Combo Skill only has a 9-second cooldown.

Her Battle Skill is also notable, as it will buff the next Final Strike from the active Operator. Upon landing the Final Strike, a Mirage will appear to do large additional damage and apply Cryo Infliction while giving Last Rite 16 Ultimate Energy.

Do note that this Battle Skill returns 30 SP on use, so it ends up being pretty cheap SP-wise. You can also use it right before fights start at no cost.

As for her Ultimate Skill, it costs 240 Ultimate Energy and does massive Cryo damage as Last Rite slashes the enemy 3 times. It’s simple, but very effective.

Now, do note that the Ultimate Energy Gain from her skills is extremely important. Last Rite only gets Ultimate Energy from her own skills. It’s why it’s important to make sure you use her Combo Skill and Battle Skill as often as possible.

Upgrade Priority and Best Potentials

Based on what I’ve established in the previous section, you won’t be surprised at all to learn that you should prioritize Combo Skill for Last Rite’s upgrades. In fact, her priorities are pretty straightforward, as follows:

  1. Combo Skill
  2. Ultimate Skill
  3. Battle Skill
  4. Basic Attack

Now, if you play her as your active Operator, you can give Basic Attack a bit more priority. That said, you should still aim to max out her Combo Skill and Ultimate Skill first of all. They are her main source of damage by far.

When it comes to Potentials, the only truly noteworthy one is Overlord of Winter (Potential 3). It boosts the damage of her Combo and Ultimate skills, increasing their DMG multiplier by 1.15 times the original.

That aside, Sincere Wake (Potential 4) is also decent. It reduces the cost of Last Rite’s Ultimate Skill by -15%. It can provide a pretty substantial DPS boost, but only if you adjust your rotation to match the lower Ultimate cost.

The rest of her Potentials aren’t really worth talking about much, however. They are pretty basic, with her Potential 5 being particularly unremarkable.

So, you can stop at either Potential 3 or Potential 4, if you wish. But Last Rite is excellent even without any of her Potentials, so getting dupes for her is not mandatory at all.

What Gear to Equip on Last Rite

Gameplay showing Last Rite with Snowshine | Arknights Endfield

Since Last Rite goes all in on both Skills and Cryo damage, your end goal is to build her up using the Tide Surge gear set. An ideal setup for her would be as follows:

  • Tide Fall Light Armor
  • Tide Surge Gauntlets
  • Hanging River 02 Tube (Two of them)

The 3-piece set effect gives the wearer +20% Skill DMG Dealt. After 2 Arts Infllictions, the wearer will also get +35% Arts DMG Dealt for 15 seconds. That’s a pretty good way to ramp up Last Rite’s damage, as it even buffs her powerful Ultimate!

If you aren’t at that point yet, though, focus on any other set that boosts her Strength or Skill DMG. Armored MSGR and Aburrey’s Legacy are both solid choices early on.

Last Rite holding Khravengger | Arknights Endfield

When it comes to weapons, her 6-Star signature Krahvengger is by far the best choice. It’s tailor-made for her, and massively boosts Strength, Attack, and Skill DMG. It even gives extra buffs on Cryo Infliction and Combo Skill uses!

Aside from that, her second-best pick would be Sundered Prince, but only if you’re actively controlling Last Rite yourself. You can get that one for free from the New Horizons 6-Star Weapon Selector.

Speaking of the weapons from selectors, Exemplar from the Curated Weapon Selection (Authority Level 45 reward) is also alright. It’s mostly a stat stick for her, but it’s better than Sundered Prince if you’re using someone else as the active Operator.

That aside, Seeker of Dark Lung is an alright choice too, and Industry 0.1 is what you’ll want for the early-to-mid game.

The Best Teams for Last Rite

Xaihi | Arknights Endfield

First things first, the best singular teammate for Last Rite right now is Xaihi. She can help Last Rite get to 3 or 4 Cryo Infliction stacks much faster thanks to her Combo Skill.

Additionally, Xaihi can also provide a substantial buff to Arts DMG with her Battle Skill and an even better buff to Cryo and Nature damage with her Ultimate Skill. Plus, she can heal allies!

Ardelia | Arknights Endfield

You’ll then want to pair Last Rite and Xaihi with Ardelia. The caveat is that you try to get Ardelia’s Combo Skill off first, so she can apply Corruption and consume it with her Battle Skill to weaken enemies.

For your last spot, you have two choices, depending on your preference.

Fluorite | Arknights Endfield

The first choice is Fluorite, mainly thanks to her Combo Skill. It adds an extra stack of Cryo Infliction, helping Last Rite get the 3rd or 4th stack easier. However, it has a massive 40-second cooldown.

Perlica | Arknights Endfield

The second choice is Perlica, to apply Electrification. It will increase the Cryo damage from Last Rite, and boosting her damage even higher is never a bad choice!

So, in short, my recommended team is Last Rite + Xaihi + Ardelia + Fluorite/Perlica. That is, of course, for early 1.0! Things might change with later patches as we get more Cryo Operators.

Nonetheless, that’s the end of this Last Rite guide for Arknights: Endfield, so now you know my recommendations for her builds, gear, weapons, and teams!
