Eggs in Ark Survival Ascended are multifaceted and can be used by players for a variety of different things. Among all the different eggs you can find in the game, some are more special than others.

The Golden Hesperornis Eggs go into this category. So how do you get your hands on these eggs?

We will look at the best way to get Golden Hesperornis Eggs. It can be tricky to get Golden Hesperornis Eggs, but they have many different uses in both PvE and PvP.

Best Way To Get Golden Hesperornis Eggs

Golden Hesperornis Egg

The best way to get Golden Hesperornis Eggs is by taming a female Hesperornis. You can tame the Hesperornis by feeding it fish. You can then use the tamed Hesperornis to harvest fish that it can then eat. After eating five fish, the Hesperornis will go towards land and lay an egg.

The eggs the Hesperornis lay are random and there are two different eggs they can lay. The golden egg is less likely to drop, so this step requires a lot of time and patience.

Taming a Hesperornis

To tame a female Hesperornis you will need to feed it fish depending on the Hesperornis’s level. A higher level Hesperornis will require you to feed it more fish. The level of the Hesperornis you tame doesn’t matter a lot here, so it is just easier if you tame lower-level ones.

You can feed the Hesperornis any fish to tame it, but the Sabertooth Salmon is the most effective one to use on Hesperornis.

Collecting the Golden Hesperornis Eggs

The Hesperornis automatically lays eggs after it eats five fish. The best way to feed the Hesperornis five fish is by making them hunt for the fish themselves.

You do this by using the whistle-aggressive prompt near your tamed Hesperornis. For this, you have to make sure you are near a body of water with fish in it.

After eating five fish the Hesperornis will lay an egg on land. Golden eggs are rarer drops, so being patient is important here. It’s good to remember that the more Hesperornis you tame, the more eggs they will lay.

What Are Golden Hesperornis Eggs Used For?

Golden Hesperornis eggs in Ark Survival Ascended can be very useful for you. For non-rideable small creatures, feeding them golden eggs will temporarily give them a 500% experience buff.

Bigger creatures and humans will get a smaller experience buff of 10%. Both of these buffs last for ten minutes.

The other big use for the egg is making Extraordinary Kibble. Extraordinary Kibble is useful in taming creatures, especially in the late game.

The golden Hesperornis eggs are tradable items. This makes them useful for PvP too as the rarity of the eggs makes them an item other people would also like to have.

Getting your hands on some Golden Hesperornis eggs can be a bit demanding. The payoff is worth it though as the eggs are rare to come by and very useful.
