Where to Find Crystal in ARK Fjordur
You can find Crystals naturally spawning in caves, mountain peaks, and snowy biomes. Crystals have a gleaming white look that makes them easy to identify.
While you can find small deposits scattered across the map, there are a handful of locations that consistently provide enough Crystal to fill your inventory in a single trip.

Ark Survival Evolved: Can You Tame A Creature While It’s Tranquilized?Jan 12, 2024However, the best location for farming Crystals is the Aberration cave which you can find on coordinates 56.6 and 84.6. You can easily spot the entrance with clusters of violet crystals lining both sides.
All you have to do is head inside the cave and farm as many as possible.
Once inside, you’ll find lots of Crystal deposits throughout the cave. Aside from Crystals, you can also find Blue and Red Gems, making this spot the one of the most valuable farming locations on the entire map.
Meanwhile, if you prefer gathering Crystals in the open, another excellent location is on the top of the mountain around the west side on coordinates 26.5, 44.7.
Another location you can easily find crystals is on the right side of the map on coordinates 38.0, 96.3. This is a great place to harvest lots of crystals and gold metal.
Other Alternative Locations
If you’re playing on a PvE or PvP server and find those areas heavily congested, you can instead head to Fjordur’s snowy mountain ranges. There, you can find Crystal deposits along cliffs and ridges.
To maximize efficiency, make sure to bring a Dino designed for resource gathering. Personally, I’d recommend the Ankylosaurus as it’s one of the best for Crystal harvesting. A Mantis with a Metal Pick is also another great option.
Of course, if you can afford, the Mining Drill would be by far the most effective.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Aberration Cave is the best location for farming Crystals in the Fjordur map. It features a high concentration of Crystals alongside Blue and Red gems. However, if the cave isn’t an option, then you can visit the other locations instead.
