162 articles“On Deaf Ears” is one of the quests you can get from Lance in ARC Raiders after the Headwinds update.
The life of a Raider is a bit rough on the ears, what with all the noisy ARCs and the gunfire. Lance heard a rumor of some experimental hearing aids in Stella Montis. Those could really help counter the impaired hearing some Raiders suffer from!
Listen up and I’ll tell you everything you need to complete this quest.
How to Find the Researcher’s Guest Logs
To start this quest, you’ll want to go to the Lobby on the northern part of the Stella Montis map. Look for the desk on the spot I marked on the map above for you.

For this first step, you just need to interact with the computer at that desk. You’ll get a prompt to “Send Data to Lance”. Finish that interaction and you’re done with this first objective. Pretty simple start, nice!
How to Find Where the Researcher Held Their Lecture
As soon as you collect the guest logs, you’ll need to find where exactly it is that the researcher held a lecture. For this, follow the route on the video below as you go east from the Lobby.
By following that route, you’ll reach the Auditorium within Stella Montis. Interact with the computer on the desk there to send more info to Lance and finish this step.
How to Find Information About the Prototype
Next up, you’ll need to go all the way over to the opposite end of Stella Montis. Your next destination is the Medical Research area in the southwestern part of the map.
Enter the room in the spot I marked for you on the map above and you’ll find yet another interactable terminal. It’s in the northeastern corner of the room. Send more data to Lance from it, as you have before.
How to Find the Printed Shipping Logs
For the final step, you’ll want to go to the Assembly Hatch in the Assembly Workshops. Use it as your starting point, then follow the route on the video below.
Simply enter the Control Room upstairs and collect the Shipping Logs there to finish the quest. These don’t get put into your inventory or anything, as they’re not an item.
So, you just need to extract now and return to Lance. Talk to him to claim your reward, and you’re all done with the “On Deaf Ears” quest in ARC Raiders!
