162 articlesIf you’ve stumbled upon the Keeping the Memory quest in ARC Raiders, you’re in for one of the quickest and easiest missions in the game. The goal is simple: return the helmet to the memorial. The trickiest part is actually finding the hidden helmet. Follow along with our step-by-step guide to learn how to complete the quest.
Locating the Helmet
There are three objectives for the quest:
- Reach the wreckage in the Formical Hills.
- Search for the missing helmet.
- Return the helmet to the memorial.
First, make your way to Formical Hills on the Dam Battlegrounds map. Then, to the east of Scrap Yard and adjacent to the Testing Annex, you will see a site called Wreckage. This is where you will search for the helmet.
Once there, keep your eyes open as the helmet isn’t out in the open. It’s cleverly hidden behind a small bush and a rock. Move close enough until you see the “Quest Item” prompt pop up when you aim your cursor or ping the area. Once prompted, pick up the helmet.

Returning the Helmet
After grabbing the helmet, look around within a few feet of you, as there is a large stick poking out of the ground with wires around it. This acts as the memorial marker. Head over and interact with it to return the helmet. The moment you do, the quest completes.
And that is it. No big enemies, no extra locations. Just an act of remembrance.
Rewards and Wrap-Up
You will turn in this mission by heading to your Traders tab, clicking on Celeste, and clicking complete. It should give some extra XP, which is always welcome.
And that is all there is to the Keeping the Memory quest in ARC Raiders! This is a mission showing a simple act of remembrance. And while this is a fictional game, I think it’s quite a nice way to remember and honor the fallen. So, grab the helmet, return it to the memorial, and take just a brief moment of reflection before heading back into the firefight.
