How to Defeat the Leaper for the “Into the Fray” Quest | ARC Raiders
The first step to defeating a Leaper is finding a Leaper! A good place for that is in the center of the Dam Battlegrounds map, just a little bit west of the Primary Facility POI. There’s usually a Leaper patrolling that area.

ARC Raiders: Where to Find Turbine CompressorApr 30, 2026But, before you go, prepare accordingly! Make sure to bring the proper equipment to fight the Leaper. A weapon with high ARC Armor Penetration, such as the Ferro or Anvil, is a must.
Also, make sure to bring a plentiful amount of ammo for said weapon! Grenades also wouldn’t hurt, with Blaze Grenades being the most effective for damaging the Leaper.
That aside, you want to find the Leaper in that area and lure it into one of the small buildings or bunkers. As we described in our guide on dealing with every ARC, Leapers can’t hit you if you’re hiding in a building that’s too small for them!
Once you’re set up, it really is just a matter of taking shots at the Leaper while you hide. Get out to attack if it starts to run away, but always make sure to return inside the building you’re hiding in.
Eventually, the Leaper will go down! When it does, just loot its core body and grab the Leaper Pulse Unit. We recommend putting this in your Safe Pocket, as it’s required for the quest!
Now all that’s left for you to do is to return to Shani. Tell her about how you managed to defeat the Leaper and deliver the Leaper Pulse Unit to complete the “Into the Fray” quest in ARC Raiders.
