Don’t know where to start for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance? No big deal. Things can be overwhelming with all of the different options and missions you can complete. We got you covered with everything you need to maximize your character and your time.

#1 – Don’t Rush, Have Fun

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance has a TON of time gates, meaning you aren’t able to progress and play as much from the start of the game. For example, on the first day, you are only going to be able to hit around level 20. The next day, you may hit level 25. Time gates only allow you to level up and play the game so much.

So, there is no need to rush. Take your time each day and have a good time playing the game.

Tips

  • You do not need to min-max gear off the start. You may be able to get a couple of level 40 pieces in the first dungeon; however, they will be quickly replaced by level 60 gear a little down the road.
  • The essential items you need to do every day to ensure you are keeping pace only take between 1 to 2 hours.

Sidequests

Should you do sidequests?

The short answer is no. They honestly give a very small reward. They do give EXP, but it’s not required to hit the max level of 60. The only benefit to doing the sidequests is that you will hit level 60 earlier than those who don’t do them. But they will catch up fairly quickly. So, weighing the time vs benefits, it’s just not worth it compared to doing daily and main quests.

#2 – Do your Daily Quests

Season Pass

If you click on the Seasonal Hub tab, you will see your Season Pass Daily Quests. These are important early on.

One of the daily quests is to complete “Unstable Space.” To do this, go into the party finder menu and find the Unstable Space tab. Each day, there will be a new dungeon underneath this tab.

Click auto-match and “Become Captain.” Wait for the queue, and play the dungeon. It should only take a couple of minutes to complete.

Guild

You will want to visit the Guild Hall and speak with Laura. This will give you Guild EXP.

If you walk around a bit on the same level, there will be a Cargo Administrator. You will want to talk to him, and this will fulfill your Guild cargo seasonal daily quest.

You will get Guild Tokens that allow you to buy very important resources. It’s also at this Cargo Administrator that you can turn in items for Luno and Guild Tokens.

Guild Tokens can be spent weekly to purchase good items like Focus Potions at the Grocery Administrator on the top floor of the Guild.

#3 – Mystery Shop

Go to the cash shop and go to the Mystery Store. You can use the currency you earn in the game to buy the resources here. Here are my recommendations on what you should buy out every day if they are in the shop:

  • Skill Book – One of the most important resources to buy and have until Core skills are maxed out.
  • Starforge Crystal level 1 – Buy this only until all of your gear is level 10.
  • Starforge Crystal level 2 – Buy until all of your gear is level 20.
  • Mech Shard – Increases refinement chances.
  • Luno – (Late game) Only buy if you are going for level 7 gem.
  • Star Chest – Do not buy unless you have a TON of spare rose orbs.

#4 – Use the Handbook and Feature Menu

The Handbook

The Handbook is an extremely useful resource. Let’s look at each part of the Handbook: the Manual and the Preview.

The Manual

The Manual will tell you about recommended play styles and what you are able to do every single day. It teaches you things you can do to progress in the game. This is great for new players who may have a hard time knowing what to strive for next.

They also give great rewards, such as Skill Books.

The Preview

The Preview will tell you what new features and events will be coming. It will tell you exactly when they will be unlocking. This is great for planning when you need to log into the game and what is to come soon.

Feature Menu

The Feature Menu gives a great idea of what you should do daily and weekly. Once you complete that daily, it will check it off. Making it an easy guide to pull up when you are unsure of where you stand with your Daily and Weekly Missions.

Leisure Activities are just missions that can give you great gear. Otherwise, they can just be fun missions to complete when you don’t have much else to do in the game.

#5 – Do your Trial Path and Talent Quests

These are both extremely important and should not be overlooked in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance.

Trial Path

Your Trial Path can be found in the Guild Hall with the Trial Path Administrator, Anna. You NEED to do these. These challenges give you talent points and are how you unlock your talent tree.

Make sure you pick the tab that matches your class: DPS = Strength, Tank = Guardian, or Support = Support.

Talent Quests

Airona is not marked on your map, but she is close to the right when you come into town. She gives you a kill quest that gives you a talent point. This is the only sidequest you must complete.

And that is all of your tips and tricks for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance. Using these tips and tricks ensures you have the best possible time in the game while still maximizing your character. Creating these habits now, whether you are in the early or late game, will keep your gameplay rewarding.
