You can spend the time to craft whatever character you want with these many options. Ugly or pretty, it’s up to you! However, this raises an issue. What if you want to change your character later on? What if you want to transfer your character to another world or use it online?
Can You Change Character Appearance Once Started
Unfortunately, you cannot change character’s appearance after the game has started. You can not move it to a different world either, whether online or offline. The game makes this clear through text in the character creator menu itself.
It also claims that a character re-edit feature is to be added later. Palworld has just been released. This means that new features will be added through updates over time. Although, for the time being, you’re going to have to stick with the character you made at the start of the game.

Another thing worth noting is that your character is tied to the world it was created in. You can not transfer it to another world. We also do not know if this is a feature that will be added to the game later.
While this news is unfortunate, at least there’s a silver lining for future updates. In the meantime, be sure to take as much time as you need when making your character. You might be stuck with it for a while, after all.
