Seele is one of the most iconic characters in the entire Honkai franchise. As such, her arrival as a limited-event banner in Honkai: Star Rail is highly anticipated by a lot of players, especially fans of the series.
Not only that, but her design is reminiscent of that of her appearance in Honkai Impact 3rd.
That said, Seele joins the roster of characters in Honkai: Star Rail as a 5-star Hunt Path character.
Her attacks utilize the Quantum element, and while we don’t know much about her personality in the game, we will be able to have a glimpse of her story.
This begs the question: is Seele worth pulling?
Should You Pull Seele in Honkai: Star Rail
Long story short, the answer is yes.
It’s worth noting that you will need up to 90 Special Rail Passes to successfully pull for Seele. That’s if you’re unlucky despite maxing up your Pity. Despite that, it will be all worth it.
After all, Seele is by far the best single-target DPS character in the game right now. Not only does she have an amazing design and personality, but she’s also capable of dishing out massive amounts of single-target damage.
This reason alone is enough to convince most players to pull her despite the huge amount of resources necessary to do so.
However, if you’re aiming for the strongest characters, you’re better off looking for other options.
As mentioned, Seele specializes in dealing single-target damage. This makes her an excellent addition to your party, especially if you’re heavily lacking a DPS character.
Since she uses the Quantum element for her attacks, this makes her advantageous in battle since she can delay your enemies’ actions. Massive single-target DPS and the ability to delay enemy actions make Seele worth pulling.
DPS aside, Seele is also quite flexible when it comes to team compositions. She can easily work with other characters in your party, allowing you to be flexible with your team composition as well.
Seele’s Weaknesses
Despite all that, there are some valid reasons why you might want to ignore pulling Seele.
For one, she is not designed to deal AOE damage. This can be a serious problem if you’re lacking an AOE damage dealer in your party.
Also, she uses Skill Points a lot which can make it even more tricky to manage during combat. Lastly, she can be quite expensive to pull. You will need to save up Stellar Jade if you want to obtain Seele.
And in the event that you are unlucky with the Pity system, you might end up spending real-world money to get her.
