Fruits and the Like
The first items we’ll have to talk about are the various fruits and similar items you can find during raids. While these are random, like pretty much everything else, they do have more specific spots for you to find them.

- Lemons x5 and Apricots x17 – Grab them from small fruit trees. The Olive Grove area of the Blue Gate map is the most reliable spot.
- Prickly Pears x8 – Grab them by looting cacti.
- Olives x8 – Found randomly, but most common in the Olive Grove area of the Blue Gate map.
- Mushrooms x12 – Commonly found growing out of tree trunks, especially fallen ones.
It’s worth noting, all of these items are much more common during the Lush Blooms events. If you need to farm them and are having bad luck, it’s a good idea to wait until that event.
Now, you’ll mainly need these to upgrade Scrappy. This will allow Scrappy to bring you random materials more frequently, which can greatly speed up your progress!
Other Materials for Scrappy
Those fruits and whatnot aren’t the only things Scrappy needs, however. You’ll also need some other items to be able to get Scrappy to their max level, as follows:
- Dog Collar x1
- Torn Blanket x1
- Cat Bed x1
- Very Comfortable Pillow x3
All of these 4 items have completely random spawn locations. You can more or less find them almost anywhere! They are quite rare, though.
However, they do seem to be most common in residential areas. That means any residential area on any of the maps is your best bet for these ones.
In combination with the fruits and such from before, these goodies will allow you to get Scrappy to max level. Doing this as soon as you can is great, thanks to the materials Scrappy gives you!
Misc. Important Items to Hoard
Lastly, we want to give you a quick list of random items that you might find while looting and should keep. All of these have random spawns, so just make sure to grab them when you find them:
- Mechanical Components – Mostly found in mechanical areas, used for many high-tier upgrades.
- Assorted Seeds – Found mostly in nature areas. Used to trade with Celeste.
- Speaker Component – Found mostly in commercial areas. Used to craft items to distract ARCs or hide from them.
- Metal Parts, Rubber Parts, Plastic Parts, Power Cables, and Chemicals – Found very often almost everywhere. You’ll need a lot of all of them to upgrade your Workshop’s stations.
As a final note, don’t let the game’s loot system overwhelm you at first. If you’re a beginner, you honestly can’t go wrong by just grabbing everything you can! Extract with whatever you can get, you can always sift through them later in the safety of your base.
