GTA 6’s Delay Made It All the Way to the Polish Parliament, with One Member Saying It’s a “Very Disturbing Matter”

After a series of delays, GTA 6 is yet again moved to another release date, this time it’s on November 19, 2026.

This unsurprisingly disappointed a lot of fans who were eagerly waiting for the game to release on its supposed launch date of May 26, 2026.

What’s surprising, however, is the fact that this news even reached the Polish parliament. Witold Tumanowicz, who is a member of the KWiN opposition party, jokingly said during a parliamentary session that GTA 6’s delay is a “very disturbing matter.”

In a clip that went viral on Reddit, Tumanowicz took the floor and said:

“An hour ago, Rockstar Games announced that the release of GTA VI will be postponed until next year. This is a huge scandal. Frankly, if people don’t take to the streets after something like this, I don’t know what will happen.”

It’s not just Tumanowicz who felt this way. In fact, another MP from a different party shared the same sentiment.

Pawel Szrot of the Law and Justice Party took to X (formerly Twitter) and said:

“I respect such statements, Representative. I hope the add-on for Bannerlord doesn’t get delayed any further.”

This might sound like a completely made-up story, but it actually happened. But who would have thought that a parliament member would use his time to air out his concerns for GTA 6’s delay?

To be fair, his sentiments are honestly relatable to most of us. After all, the hype for GTA 6 has already reached unprecedented levels. If it gets delayed yet again, who knows what people would do at that point?

There were some sources saying the game is already content-ready, but Rockstar is taking their time to “polish it to perfection.” Well, we hope that’s the case.

Also, fingers crossed that the November release date is the final one.
