Story
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, you will be controlling a young girl named Lebel Distel. The character is on her deathbed when you suddenly hear a voice from an Android named “Enoa”.
The game takes place in the future after mankind becomes extinct in a place known as Eden. Artificial life forms self-evolved in Eden which are known as Deux Ex Machina.
When the first Deux Ex Machina gets lost, that is when a rift starts in their universe. That is where the story of this game starts to take shape.
Gameplay
Combat in Crymachina takes place in three stages of the game, and all three playable characters are involved in combat in each stage.
The combat in the game includes melee as well as ranged attacks.
You can dodge the attacks and then counter them with your moves. You can then stack up your enemy’s weapons in your bag once you have soundly defeated them.
The game allows you to upgrade your characters through a system which is known as PED (Personality Enhancement Data). There is an item known as esoterics where you can adjust your character’s skills.
You can also visit the miniature garden to recollect and analyze the memories you have gathered while playing the game. You can even host a tea party for the three characters!
Release Date
As the game is Japanese, the release date for a Japan release is set for the 6th of July 2023. The game is likely to be released in the fall of 2023 in the West according to NIS America.
But the release in Japan is expected to be as early as the 6th of July 2023. Crymachina presently is in development for PC, PS 4, PS 5, and Switch.
The game’s interface will have English, Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese. While the full Audio of the game is going to be only in Japanese, you will get subtitles in all four languages mentioned above.
