In New World, if you want to transfer your character to a new server for whatever reason you might have, you’ll have to first remove any trading post buy and sell orders you might have. You also have to leave your company and position your character in an outpost or settlement.
While transferring over to a different world sounds fun, it does have its limitations. For one, your friends on your friends’ list won’t carry over, so if you have met friends in the game, it’s time to say goodbye before you transfer.
Also, since you can only join a faction once every 120 days in the game, you want to make sure that you switch faction on your current server to the faction with the most territory in the new server you’re planning to transfer to.
That aside, you can keep your currency, quest progress, inventory, levels, house, as well as your alliance when you transfer. But how do you do it?
How to Transfer to a Different World or Region in New World
Once you have considered all of the things mentioned above, it’s now time to transfer. First, you’ll want to get a character transfer token. You can get it for free from the in-game store once you log in to your character.
All you need to do is head to the store and go to the World Transfer section to redeem your token. Keep in mind that you can only use it once. Upon using, you’ll then see a list of servers. You just have to pick your destination and then click on Select World. You’ll then get a final confirmation screen to confirm the transfer.
