Reaching Gold in Fortnite: Rocket Racing
In order to reach gold, you will have to play through the Bronze and Silver ranks first. As you level up you will unlock new maps for you to race in, however expect the difficulty to increase as well.
Whilst this seems simple enough, each Medal has subcategories with a select number of matches to complete within them.
During the Bronze ranking, each medal (Bronze 1, 2 and 3) require three matches to win. That means to get to the silver rank you’ll need to come first in nine games.
Now in the silver ranking, each medal requires five wins to move up to the next level. That means in order to reach the Gold rank, you’ll need to come first in fifteen silver ranked matches.
So overall, that’s 24 matches across both Bronze and Silver that you will need win in order to level up to Gold. Remember that with each level, you’ll be playing against increasingly more difficult players, so you’ll want to be extra vigilant if you want to come first and win!
Currently, there is a bug that means upon reaching Gold level 1 the free Jackie skin won’t be unlocked. Don’t Fret! Epic Games are aware and planning on releasing a bug patch soon to fix this issue, since it should unlock at Gold 1.
