Gunning down your enemies from a questionable angle is one thing, but doing the exact same thing in style? While using Warpaints?
Now that’s more like it! Your firearm of choice eats up a good portion of your screen while you’re playing and sometimes you just want a breath of fresh air.
There are plenty of different skins to choose from so it can be quite overwhelming, especially if you’re on a budget.
Don’t worry though, if you want to look good while ensuring you don’t break the bank, you came to the right place! May Ocelot forgive you for decorating your boomstick.
TF2: Top 10 Best Budget Warpaints
Now we’re going to list down everything that we find aesthetically pleasing or amusing in that order while still making sure that you don’t end up burning a hole in your pocket. You’d be surprised how much you can get for less!
Warpaint #10: Civic Duty
We’ll start off with something that’s relatively clean looking, like the Civic Duty Warpaint. It’s enough to bring life to any weapon of your choice, even if it’s only a low tier Warpaint. This will cost you at least $0.18, not a bad price if you want to look good!
Warpaint #9: Autumn
Next up is the Autumn Warpaint, because somebody out there will have to take the fall. If you want a little bit more color but want to keep things not too busy then this would be a good choice for your arsenal. It costs $0.23.
Warpaint # 8: Swashbuckled
Ever feel like you’re in the wrong profession? Like you have a sudden longing for the open seas? Maybe in a different life. But hey, you can get close enough to that life with Swashbuckled. For $0.23 you don’t even have to think twice about getting one for yourself!
Warpaint #7: Merc Stained
You fight alongside your mates to achieve a common goal right? So why not use a Warpaint to remind you whose side you’re on simply? For just $0.36 the Merc Stained does just that for you at no extra cost!
Warpaint #6: Night Owl Mk.II
Moving on up we have the Night Owl Mk. II. If you’re a fan of camouflage but still can’t resist letting your opponent know that you’re about to get the jump on them then this just might be to your liking. That’s what the yellow accent is for! This one will cost you $0.39.
Warpaint #5: Gifting Mann’s Wrapping Paper
It’s never too early to gift your opponent a one-way ticket to the hospital with this Christmas-themed Warpaint! For $0.48 you can make sure that the other guy spends their holidays on a stretcher! If they survive the blast that is.
Warpaint #4: Backwoods Boomstick Mk. II
If you’re heading into the Mercenary Park and want to let everyone know that you have a bit of money on you then the Backwoods Boomstick Mk. II is a perfect choice. There are only so many places where you can get away with using green if you’re particular about your camouflage. This one will cost you $0.54.
Warpaint #3: Tiger Buffed
You have a good eye! For $1.21 you can let everyone on the playing field know how much of a survivor you are with the Tiger Buffed. Prey on your enemies in style!
Warpaint #2: Iron Wood Mk. II
No matter how you look at it, wood still belongs on any good firearm, with some accents here and there. For a good $1.23 you can get your hands on the Iron Wood Mk. II. Craftsmanship at its best!
Warpaint #1: Portal Plastered
Wrong game! We’ll be honest though, nostalgia crept in on this one. You just can’t forget all of your Minecraft experiences easily and it shows. What you can forget though is the price as you only have to shell out $1.35!
And that’s it! Now you can shoot your shot without thinking about how you’ll never financially recover from your purchase. If you want to see more you can always go to the ingame Warpaint menu to inspect everything else in detail.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
