The main four from Remake return, accompanied by newcomers Red XII, Yuffie, and Cait Sith. Of course, we also got to play as Yuffie back in Interlude. But, this is her first time joining the main party in the FF7 Remake trilogy!

Cloud
Cloud – It should come as no surprise to anybody, but good ol’ Cloud is by far the best character. As the protagonist, he simply has no match when it comes to combat!

Aerith
Aerith is basically a must-have in your party. Her magical abilities make her the best support you could ever have, thanks to her Wards, but she’s also more than capable of dishing out damage!
Tifa
The agile pugilist is extremely easy to use, and her powerful Focused Strike can Stagger foes in the blink of an eye. As you know, Stagger is key to dealing huge damage, so she excels thanks to that!
Yuffie
Agile and capable of damaging foes with ease both in close and long range. She can charge up ATB faster than most other characters thanks to her extreme attack speed, but is rather fragile.
Red XII
Extremely fast and capable of closing gaps with foes within seconds, Red XIII can overwhelm foes with his speed. His only issue is that his Vengeance Mode can be hard to use, as it relies on blocking.
Barret
Barret keeps his allies safe by tanking the bulk of damage himself but has a pretty lacking damage output. He can excel at Staggering foes, though, and also has one of the best Synergy Skills in the game!
Cait Sith
Still an oddball, just like in the original Final Fantasy 7. He can summon a Moogle to help in combat, which changes his moveset. Still, he’s hard to use effectively and relies too much on luck for most people’s tastes…

Too bad Vincent doesn’t join the party in this…
