ARC Raiders is a very gear-gated game, so bringing the best you can on your loadouts is important for both PvE and PvP.
That said, both PvE and PvP require somewhat of a different focus. It’s possible to gear up well for both at once, of course, but what if you want to favor one over the other?
Well, that’s what we’ll help you out with! Read on for our loadout recommendations.
Best PvE & PvP Loadouts | ARC Raiders
PvE-Focused Loadouts

If you’re planning to mainly deal with PvE, you want to use weapons that are great for taking out ARCs. A good recommendation here, if you’ve managed to obtain it, is the Hullcracker.
The Hullcracker is a purely anti-ARC weapon. It deals literally no damage to enemy players, but it’s capable of quickly wrecking most ARCs in the game. So, it’s an easy choice here!
Similarly, the Equalizer and Jupiter are great choices for PvE, too. Like the Hullcracker, they are weapons that are primarily meant for easily wrecking ARCs and nothing else. They are quite rare, however.
For something a lot more budget-friendly, the Anvil and Ferro are always great in PvE. They are fairly cheap and common, plus they are great against ARCs at every point in the game.

In fact, the Anvil is widely considered the best weapon in the game. It’s cheap, light, has Strong ARC Armor Penetration, and is just overall good DPS. Can’t go wrong with it at all!
Weapons aside, you’ll want to pack a Medium Shield and an Augment of your choice. Combat Mk. 1 is a solid and cheap all-rounder, for example, with higher tiers of it being solid.
So, here’s an example of a very strong PvE-focused loadout:
- Weapons: Hullcracker + Anvil, Anvil + Ferro, Equalizer + Anvil.
- Augment: Combat Mk. 1 or higher. Looting Mk. 1 or higher also works if you avoid combat.
- Other: Medium Shield, Blaze Grenades, Wolfpack Grenades, Sterilized Bandages, Shield Recharger, Photoelectric Cloak.
PvP-Focused Loadouts

When it comes to PvP, you can mostly ignore ARC Armor Penetration on your guns. Despite that, the Anvil remains a great choice for PvP. All of its strengths apply to PvP, making it great for quickly taking out players in mid-range encounters.
Similarly, the Ferro is also a solid weapon in PvP early on. It has decent damage at long range, allowing you to get shots in before other Raiders get too close for comfort.
When Raiders do get close, though, the Venator is another great choice. It’s incredibly light and can dish out some surprisingly high burst damage in close-quarter PvP encounters. Overall, it’s a great backup option!
Similarly, the Vulcano and Osprey are two other great PvP choices. The Vulcano can quickly shred players in mid-close range, while the Osprey is great for sniping players for long-range kills. They pair well together, if you have the budget for it.

For Augments, we recommend the Tactical Mk. 2 for PvP. It will deploy smoke when your shield gets broken, which can disorient enemy Raiders. This gives you a good opening to either flee or counterattack.
If you don’t have the Tactical Mk. 2 yet, the Combat Mk. 1 is a solid option in the meantime. It’s a more general-purpose Augment without any gimmicks.
So, with all of that in mind, our recommended PvP-focused loadouts would look something like this:
- Weapons: Vulcano + Osprey, Anvil + Venator, Ferro + Venator.
- Augment: Tactical Mk. 2 if you have access to it. Otherwise, Combat Mk. 1.
- Other: Light or Medium Shield, Sterilized Bandages, Shield Recharger, Smoke Grenades, Lure Grenades.
There you have it, that’s our recommendations for making the best PvE and PvP loadouts in ARC Raiders! We hope this helps you plan out your setup for dealing with ARCs and Raiders.
